INTRODUCTION As Naruto's popularity grows worldwide, so do the number of Naruto fansites and other websites offering free wallpaper downloads in addition to other Naruto materials and paraphernalia. Many Naruto fans enjoy decking out their computers with wallpaper, screen savers, sound tracks and trailers based on the popular manga and anime series.
SECTION TITLE Prepare to Set New Wallpaper on Your Computer
STEPS
Step 1: Check with the owner of your computer, if it is someone other than yourself, to make sure that you have permission to download and choose new or different wallpaper on your computer's desktop.
Step 2: Use a personal log-in on your computer so that your wallpaper and other theme selections do not encroach on other users.
Step 3: Create a directory or folder called "Wallpapers" within your "My Pictures" directory or folder as a place where you can save and easily browse for various Naruto wallpaper choices.
SECTION TITLE Visit Naruto websites to Choose Wallpaper Favorites
Step 1: Visit the official Naruto English-language website operated by Naruto publisher VizMedia.com to view and download official Naruto wallpaper offerings (see resources below).
Step 2: Hover your mouse over "Extras" and click on "Wallpapers," then use the "Back" and "Next" buttons to view the wallpaper offerings.
Step 3: Click on a screen resolution choice such as "1024 x 768" to see the wallpaper's full-screen image.
Step 4: Right-click on the image and select "Save Image As" to download the wallpaper image into your "Wallpapers" directory or folder or, if you are using a Mac, just drag the image into your desktop folder.
Step 5: Set any image as your desktop wallpaper by right-clicking on your desktop, selecting "Properties" and "Desktop" and browsing your "Wallpapers" directory to find the right image.
Step 6: Visit other fansites such as Naruto Central's Wallpapers Gallery and repeat these steps to broaden your choice of Naruto wallpapers (see Resources below).
Step 7: Exchange wallpaper images with friends by sending the images as email attachments. Always know the email's sender before opening any email attachment, to protect your computer against viruses and other infections.
